Our read of the reviews
Alpha Futures' Trustpilot profile still reads 4.4, but the last three months look nothing like the long-run average. A quarter of the 200 newest reviews (15 September to 7 October 2026) are 1-2 stars, against under 10% across all 6,103 reviews, and the 1-2 star flow peaked at more than 35 a week in late August. Payout mentions in the recent sample run 41 negative to 24 positive.
The complaints split into two groups. The first is money owed: Premium-plan payouts and refunds outstanding since the July 2026 shutdown, and standard payouts that sat at 'approved for pay' for two to six weeks. The second is how payouts are reviewed: traders describe approved requests flagged and denied for trades under 2 minutes, hedging caused by the firm's own copier, group trading because accounts were bought around the same time as someone else's, or a shared household device. 48% of the 250 negative reviews we classified describe a rule dispute and 45.6% a denied payout; the firm answers about 70% of them, usually restating the rule, and only 4 replies gave a non-trading reason that changed the picture.
The praise is almost all about support: 84% of the 4-5 star reviews thank a named chat agent, many in a line or two, and only about 17% mention receiving a payout. Several positive reviewers in late September say payout times are back to about five days, which matches the firm's own update, so the direction may be turning, but the evidence so far is a firm still working through a backlog.
