Atlas Funded sells some of the cheapest entries in the industry: $443 for a $100K 2-Step and a $5 Access challenge where the rest is due only after you pass. The catch is the gap between the homepage and the rulebook. The marketing promises no consistency rules, no news restrictions and payouts in 24 hours, while the help center and Trading Rules page add news-window deductions, a 2% open-loss trigger that halves your split for good, and a per-instrument risk cap that traders say is enforced at payout time. About a quarter of its 1,943 Trustpilot reviews are 1-star, and payout denials are the loudest complaint.

Cheap to start, costly to misread: Atlas Funded's rules live in the fine print, not on the price card

Our verdict

On price alone Atlas Funded is hard to beat. A $100K 2-Step lists at $443, the Pro versions drop the daily loss limit, four programs use static drawdown, and the Access model lets you attempt a challenge for $5. The help center is unusually detailed, and the firm does pay: it publishes verifiable payout certificates and claims $2.1M paid since its 2024 launch.

Best for

Disciplined, low-risk traders who want a cheap static-drawdown challenge and will follow the full Trading Rules page.

Avoid if

You scalp, trade news, stack several open positions or rely on the homepage's description of the rules.

Pros

  1. Low list prices: $443 for a $100K 2-Step and $478 for a $100K 1-Step (October 2026).
  2. Access lets you start a challenge for $5 and pay the funded fee only after passing.
  3. Static drawdown on 1-Step, 2-Step and both Pro programs, with no time limits.
  4. Pro programs drop the daily loss limit entirely, with a 6-8% static floor.

Cons

  1. Marketing promises (no consistency, unrestricted news, 24-hour payouts, fee back with the 1st payout) contradict the help center and rules.
  2. 27.6% of recent negative Trustpilot reviews report denied payouts, often on rules raised at the payout review.
  3. A 2% open loss on a funded account permanently cuts the split to 50%.
  4. Funded per-instrument risk is capped at half the daily loss limit, with full profit forfeiture.

Scaling plan

The pricing table says balances can grow up to 2x the starting size, but the help center (September 2026) documents no scaling plan, so treat scaling as not specified. Futures traders can graduate to Atlas Live after four paid payouts and a human risk review.

Atlas Funded pass rate

How hard is it to pass?

Challenge pass rate

10%

Estimate

~10% (estimate)

Bar = this firm · line = average of the 34 firms we grade (14%)

Atlas publishes no audited pass rate. A 2025 company blog post claims over 65% pass the Access challenge 'per internal data' without a method, so it is not used. The 1-Step and 2-Step targets and static drawdowns match FTMO-style programs, where firms have disclosed roughly 10% pass rates; Access's 3% target is easier, but the funded fee due after a pass and the tighter funded limits cut the share that reach a payout.

Who is Atlas Funded for?

Fit by trading style

Beginners

Poor fit

The $5 entry is tempting, but the funded stage stacks deductions, a 2% open-loss trigger and payout-time reviews that new traders rarely anticipate.

Experienced traders

OK with caveats

Static-drawdown 1-Step and 2-Step accounts are cheap, but you need to read the Trading Rules page, not the pricing card, before trading funded.

Swing traders

OK with caveats

Overnight and weekend holds are allowed on CFDs, but holding several positions risks the 2% Protector and the per-instrument cap.

Scalpers

Poor fit

Funded profit on any trade held under 3 minutes is deducted and tick scalping is banned.

EA & algo traders

OK with caveats

EAs are allowed without approval, but they must avoid sub-3-minute exits and news windows, and VPS setups have triggered device-matching flags.

News traders

Poor fit

Funded profit within 5 minutes of red-folder news is deducted on every instrument, despite marketing that says news is unrestricted.

About Atlas Funded

Founded 2024 · Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Atlas Funded launched publicly in November 2024 with a London-datelined press release promising up to $400,000 accounts and splits up to 95%. It trades through Atlas Vanquish FZCO in the Dubai Silicon Oasis free zone, while its simulated trading services are provided by Atlas Funded LTD, a Saint Lucia company (number 2025-00597); it also claims an office in England. Co-founder and CEO Lucas Antonio is the public face of the firm, and its terms are governed by UAE law with arbitration for disputes.

Trader tip

Before your first funded trade, read atlasfunded.com/trading-rules in full, not just the pricing card. Keep combined open risk under 2% of the starting balance and per-instrument risk under half the daily limit, hold trades at least 3 minutes, and stay flat 5 minutes either side of red-folder news, because each of these can cost you a payout.

Atlas Funded FAQ

Questions traders ask

Is Atlas Funded legit?

Atlas Funded is a real company, run through Atlas Vanquish FZCO in Dubai and Atlas Funded LTD in Saint Lucia, and it publishes verifiable payout certificates. It is also young (launched 2024), unregulated like all prop firms, and draws frequent payout-denial complaints, so treat it with caution.

Does Atlas Funded actually pay out?

Yes, payouts are made and can be checked on its certificate verification pages. But 27.6% of recent negative Trustpilot reviews describe denied payouts, usually over per-instrument risk, gambling, copy-trading or deduction rules applied at the payout review.

How long do Atlas Funded payouts take?

The guarantee covers 24 working hours for a first payout and 48 working hours for later ones, counted 9-5 UK time on weekdays, with $1,000 credited if it is late. The terms allow 1-5 business days, and the first payout window opens 14 or 28 days after funding.

What is the Atlas Funded pass rate?

Atlas does not publish an audited pass rate. A company blog claims over 65% pass the Access challenge without a method. Based on its 8%/5% and 10% targets with static drawdown, we estimate roughly 10% of evaluations reach funding.

What are Atlas Funded's hidden rules?

On funded accounts: a 2% open-loss trigger that cuts the split to 50% permanently, a cap of half the daily limit on any one instrument, profit deductions for news windows, trades under 3 minutes and 80% margin use, plus manual gambling and copy-trading reviews before payout.

Can you trade news with Atlas Funded?

Only in evaluations. On funded accounts, profit from any trade opened or closed within 5 minutes of a red-folder news release is deducted on every instrument, and positions opened in that window are closed automatically.

Are EAs allowed at Atlas Funded?

Yes, on every program without approval. On funded accounts the EA must hold trades at least 3 minutes and avoid news windows, and traders running on shared VPS servers report device-matching flags.

Does Atlas Funded accept US traders?

Atlas says it accepts traders from 140 to 190 countries and many reviewers are US-based, but its terms state that MT5 services are not intended for US residents. US traders should pick TradeLocker or Match-Trader and confirm eligibility with support. No full restricted-country list is published.

Is there an Atlas Funded discount code?

Atlas runs frequent site-wide sales with a code shown in the homepage banner, and it offers a separate code to new subscribers. Check the banner on atlasfunded.com at checkout, since the percentage and code change with each campaign.

Who owns Atlas Funded?

Atlas Funded is the trading name of Atlas Vanquish FZCO, registered in Dubai Silicon Oasis, with services provided by Atlas Funded LTD in Saint Lucia. Lucas Antonio is co-founder and CEO; other owners are not disclosed.

What happens if I breach an Atlas Funded account?

A breach of the drawdown, daily limit, a second Protector trigger or 30 days of inactivity ends the account. You can usually buy a discounted reset within 7 days that continues from the phase you were in; accounts closed for prohibited practices may not get one.

Atlas Funded 1-Step vs 2-Step: which is easier?

The 2-Step has lower targets (8% then 5%) and the widest 10% static drawdown, so it is more forgiving. The 1-Step needs 10% within a 7% static drawdown and a 4% daily limit, which is faster but tighter.

How does the Atlas Funded $5 Access challenge work?

You pay $5 to start a one-phase challenge with a 3% target. If you pass, you must pay the full funded fee (for example $492 for $100K) within 30 days, and only the $5 is ever refunded.
