About PropFirmGrades
We grade prop firms so traders don't have to guess.
Why this exists
Buying a challenge has become a routine purchase for retail traders, and the comparison sites that grew up around it mostly compare prices and discount codes. Star ratings don't help much either: almost every firm sits above four stars, partly because happy customers are asked for reviews right after a payout.
Meanwhile the things that actually cost traders money are buried: consistency rules that void a payout, news windows that only apply once you're funded, broad clauses that let a firm close an account at its discretion. PropFirmGrades puts those first. Each firm gets a grade, a Hidden Risk score, a labeled pass rate and an analysis of its recent reviews, all on one page and without an account.
How we make money
We may earn a commission when you buy through some links to firms. That never changes a grade. The method is public on How we rank and applies to every firm the same way, whether or not we have a commercial relationship with it.
Corrections
Prop firms change their rules often. If something in a review is out of date or wrong, email hello@propfirmgrades.com with a source. We verify and update quickly, and we note material changes in the firm's timeline.
What we hold ourselves to
Principles
Show the evidence
Every grade links to the reviews, terms and sources behind it. If we can't source it, we say so.
Label every estimate
Pass rates are marked Reported, Third-party or Estimate. Derived numbers are never passed off as official.
No login, no paywall
Everything we publish is free to read, including the full database. Favorites stay in your browser.
No pay-for-grade
Firms can't buy a better grade, a higher position or the removal of accurate information.
