FundedNext is one of the largest prop firms by volume: 80,000+ Trustpilot reviews, a self-reported $387.5M paid out and payouts that typically land within five hours. The core product is fairly priced, with a $549.99 two-step $100K challenge, static drawdown and the fee back on the first payout. The catch is the rulebook after you pass: a 3% open-risk cap that treats any trade without a stop-loss as 100% risk, a 30-second Quick Strike rule, news profits counted at 40% and a compliance review that can end an account before it is funded. It pays reliably if you trade inside those lines and is unforgiving if you do not.

Fast, well-documented payouts and fair pricing, wrapped in one of the strictest post-pass rulebooks around

Our verdict

FundedNext gets the basics right. The Stellar 2-Step costs $549.99 for $100K, asks for 8% and then 5% with a static 10% loss limit and no deadline, and refunds the fee with the first payout. Payouts are fast and, unusually, documented: a 4.7-hour median, a $1,000 penalty on itself for anything slower than 24 hours, monthly payout reports and an independent on-chain tracker that matches about two-thirds of the claimed total. We found no payout freeze or denial wave.

The problem is how much can go wrong between a passed challenge and a paid reward. Funded accounts carry a 3% cap on open risk that counts any trade without a stop-loss as 100% risk, a Quick Strike rule for trades under 30 seconds, a 40% haircut on news-window profits and a gambling-behavior review that can push you into a consistency rule or a lower split. Every pass goes through a compliance review that can include a recorded interview, and about one in three recent one-star reviews describes an account terminated or refused at that stage. The Terms add a $25,000 contractual penalty for prohibited practices, a non-disparagement clause that reaches review sites and language that keeps every reward discretionary until it is paid.

Our view: FundedNext is a sound choice for disciplined manual traders who always use a stop-loss, keep risk per idea well under 3%, trade from their own device and do not need EAs on accounts of $50K or more. Check the Clarity Cards before every payout request. Traders who scalp in seconds, pyramid swing positions, depend on automation or want a light-touch compliance process should look elsewhere.

Best for

Disciplined manual traders who always trade with a stop-loss and want cheap two-step challenges with fast, documented payouts.

Avoid if

You scalp sub-30-second trades, run EAs on $50K+ accounts, pyramid swing positions past 3% open risk, or share a device with another trader.

Pros

  • Median payout in 4.7 hours and 90% within 12.3 hours, with $1,000 compensation if an approved reward takes more than 24 hours
  • Stellar 2-Step $100K costs $549.99, uses a static 10% loss limit, has no time limit and refunds the fee with the first payout
  • Lower first-phase target than FTMO-style programs: 8% then 5% on the 2-Step, 8% then 4% on Lite
  • Low entry point: Lite from $32.99 for $5K, and the 6K 2-Step at $34.99 with the current STOCT code
  • Seven platforms: MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader for CFDs; Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView for futures
  • Clarity Cards show risk-limit, Quick Strike and news deductions live before you request a payout
  • Monthly payout reports, plus an on-chain tracker matching about 64% of the claimed $350M+ total

Cons

  • 3% cap on open risk on funded accounts; a trade without a stop-loss counts as 100% risk and its profit is deducted
  • Passing is not enough: a compliance review, sometimes a recorded interview, can end the account before funding
  • Terms carry a $25,000 contractual penalty per prohibited-practice breach and a non-disparagement clause that reaches review sites
  • EAs banned on accounts of $50K and above since September 2026, and the EA add-on is non-refundable
  • News-window profits on funded and Instant accounts count at only 40%
  • 1-Step allows just 6% total drawdown for a 10% target and, since January 2026, refunds the fee only at the third payout
  • Instant costs 3% of balance ($599.99 for $20K), starts at a 70% split and uses a 6% trailing limit that never resets

FundedNext scorecard

How we graded it

Weighted score 7.0/10 → grade B

Methodology →
  • Payouts 25%7.8

Median 4.7-hour payouts, a $1,000 late-payment promise and monthly payout reports, but recurring complaints about rule-based deductions and post-pass terminations keep it out of the top band.

  • Rules & transparency 20%5.5

Everything is published and visible in Clarity Cards, but the 3% open-risk cap, Quick Strike, 40% news split, gambling reviews, $25,000 penalty clause and a September 2026 EA ban add up to a dense, discretionary rulebook.

  • Reputation 20%7.0

Four and a half years, named founders, disclosed entities and partial on-chain payout verification, set against an RBI alert-list entry, Forex Peace Army's January 2024 finding of suspicious positive reviews and heavy review solicitation.

  • Trading conditions 15%7.4

A $549.99 $100K 2-Step with static 10% drawdown, an 8% first target, no deadline and the fee back on the first payout is good value; the 1-Step's 6% limit and Instant pricing are weaker.

  • Support 10%6.8

Round-the-clock chat that many reviewers praise, against complaints about AI-first replies, slow Trading Ethics escalations and a 0.06% reply rate to negative Trustpilot reviews.

  • Platforms & execution 10%7.5

MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader for CFDs plus Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView for futures, offset by recurring gold-spread and slippage complaints and Match-Trader-only access for US traders.

Who is FundedNext for?

Fit by trading style

Beginners

OK with caveats

Lite starts at $32.99 with no deadline, but the 3% risk cap, mandatory stop-losses and post-pass compliance interview punish sloppy habits.

Experienced traders

Good fit

The 2-Step's static 10% drawdown, $300K allocation, scale-up to $4M and same-day payouts suit disciplined traders who already size below 3% per idea.

Swing traders

OK with caveats

Overnight and weekend holds are allowed with swaps, but the 3% cumulative open-risk cap limits pyramiding and stacked positions.

Scalpers

OK with caveats

Holding for a minute or more is fine, but sub-30-second profits above 30% of a cycle are forfeited, commissions run $5-7 per lot and gold spreads draw complaints.

EA & algo traders

Poor fit

CFD EAs are limited to MT4/MT5 accounts under $50K with a paid add-on and banned on cTrader and Match-Trader; only the futures side allows bots freely.

News traders

OK with caveats

News is unrestricted in challenges and on futures, but funded and Instant CFD accounts count only 40% of news-window profit.

About a third of recent one-star reviews describe an account closed or a funded account withheld, most often after the post-challenge compliance review, a KYC or location mismatch, or a device, IP or copy-trading flag. Many reviewers say they passed both phases first and got no specific reason beyond a final decision.

  • · Flagged 544 reviews (92% one-star) in 12 months; Trustpilot judged 61% of those flags invalid and removed 207 reviews

Our read of the reviews

FundedNext's Trustpilot profile is enormous and very positive: 80,505 reviews, a 4.5 TrustScore and 90% four- or five-star ratings. Trustpilot's own data for the past 12 months (33,564 reviews, November 2025 to September 2026) shows the monthly negative share moving between 7.7% and 12.9% with no sustained direction, so we rate the trend stable. Our scraped sample agrees: of the 200 newest reviews, 87% were positive and 9.5% negative. Because FundedNext receives about 110 reviews a day, that sample covers only September 29 to October 1, 2026; the 201 negative reviews we read for complaint themes run from September 12 to October 1.

The praise is short and generic. Two-thirds of five-star reviews are under 80 characters, many thank a named agent after a support chat, and half of all reviews in the past year arrived through Trustpilot's automatic invitations. The longer positive reviews mention fast payouts, the dashboard and rules that are clear if you follow them.

The complaints are specific and cluster after a trader passes. About a third of negative reviews describe an account terminated or a funded account refused, most often after the post-challenge compliance review, a KYC problem or a device, IP or copy-trading flag. Others cite profit deductions under the 3% risk rule, the September 2026 EA ban on $50K+ accounts, wide gold spreads and AI-first support. FundedNext replied to just 2 of 3,218 negative reviews in a year while flagging 544 reviews, nearly all one-star, for removal.

Method: we collected the 200 most recent Trustpilot reviews plus the most recent 201 1–2★ reviews, classified every review by theme and read the samples by hand. Shares are of the stated sample. How we analyze reviews

FundedNext pass rate

How hard is it to pass?

Challenge pass rate

10%

Estimate

~10% (our estimate for the Stellar 2-Step)

Bar = this firm · line = average of the 10 firms we grade (10.1%)

FundedNext publishes no pass rate. We estimate about 10% for the Stellar 2-Step because its 8%/5% targets, static 10% loss limit and lack of a deadline resemble FTMO-style two-step programs, for which firms have disclosed pass rates of roughly 10%; the 1-Step, with a 10% target against 6% drawdown, is likely lower, and the post-challenge compliance review removes an undisclosed share of passers.

Hidden Risk score

5.3/10

Hidden risk 5.3 out of 10, High

High risk

Average: 6.3

The rules are published, but there are many of them and most only bite on the funded account: a 3% open-risk cap with profit deductions, Quick Strike, a 40% news split, gambling reclassification, device-linkage bans and a post-pass compliance interview. The Terms add discretionary reward language, a $25,000 penalty clause and a non-disparagement clause.

  1. highlot-size

    3% open-risk cap, and no stop-loss counts as 100%

On funded and Instant accounts, total risk on open trades tied to one idea may not exceed 3% of the starting balance, measured from stop-loss distance and floating loss. A trade without a stop-loss counts as 100% risk. The first breach deducts all profit from the violating trades; the second permanently cuts that account to 1%.

    Source
  2. highkyc

Passing does not guarantee a funded account

Before funding, a risk team reviews every pass and may require a recorded or live compliance session. An unsatisfactory explanation of your trading, signs of outside help or document mismatches can end the account without a refund; terminations and refusals after passing are the most common complaint in recent one-star reviews.

    Source
  3. highaccount

    Device sharing and linked accounts

Using a device that any other trader uses, family included, or an IP from a restricted country (VPN included) is a violation, and the Terms let FundedNext act against every account linked to you, including rewards already calculated.

About FundedNext

Founded 2022 · Ajman, United Arab Emirates

FundedNext launched on March 18, 2022 as the prop-trading arm of NEXT Ventures, a group that Syed Abdullah Jayed and Abdullah Galib started in 2016 with five people. Jayed is CEO of both FundedNext and FNmarkets, the CFD brokerage the group added in 2025. Customers contract with GrowthNext F.Z.E. in the Ajman Free Zone in the UAE; a Comoros company (FundedNext Ltd) runs the simulated trading environment, a Hong Kong company runs the website, Cyprus-based Incenteco Trading handles payments, and the group also keeps an office in Dubai. Disputes go to DIAC arbitration in Dubai under UAE law.

Scale is the firm's calling card. It reports 600+ staff in five countries, more than 229,000 processed rewards, $271.4M paid by the end of February 2026 and $350M by September 1, 2026. Finance Magnates named it Global Prop Firm of the Year 2025, it placed second in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 ranking for the Middle East and Cyprus published in May 2026, and PropFirmMatch data cited by Finance Magnates ranked it first among tracked firms by 2025 payouts, at roughly $108M.

The product line has been rebuilt several times. US CFD traders were cut off around February 2024, when MetaQuotes pulled MetaTrader from prop firms serving US clients, and only returned in November 2025 on Match-Trader. The original Evaluation and Express models closed to new buyers in March 2025 as the Stellar family took over, a futures arm, now selling Flex, Legacy and Rapid, launched in April 2025, and a January 12, 2026 update cut the 1-Step split from 90% to 80% and tied the 15% challenge reward to scale-up eligibility.

Trader tip

Treat 3% as a hard ceiling on total open risk across a funded account and set the stop-loss the moment you enter, because an unprotected trade counts as 100% risk even if it closes in profit. Check the Clarity Cards before every payout request, and on the 2-Step pick the payout option at checkout carefully, since it cannot be changed later.

FundedNext FAQ

Questions traders ask

Is FundedNext legit?

Yes. FundedNext has operated since March 2022, names its founders and legal entities, and says it has paid out more than $387M; an on-chain tracker independently matched $225.9M by September 2026. It is a simulated-trading evaluation firm rather than a regulated broker, and its Terms give it wide discretion over rewards, so legitimacy does not mean every payout request is approved.

Does FundedNext actually pay out?

Yes. It reported $15.19M paid to 8,340 traders in February 2026 with a median payout of $567, and says 55% of the traders it has paid were paid more than once. Denials and deductions do happen, usually under the 3% risk rule, Quick Strike, the news split or a failed compliance review.

How long do FundedNext payouts take?

FundedNext reports a median of about 4.7 hours from request to disbursement and 90% within 12.3 hours. If an approved reward takes longer than 24 hours it promises an extra $1,000, unless the request had incorrect details. Payouts go out by USDT, USDC, RiseWorks, Confirmo, bank transfer, card or deposit to FNmarkets.

What is the FundedNext pass rate?

FundedNext does not publish one. We estimate about 10% for the Stellar 2-Step, in line with disclosed figures for comparable two-step programs, and lower for the 1-Step, whose 10% target sits against only 6% of drawdown. Passing is also not the last hurdle, because a compliance review can still refuse the funded account.

What are FundedNext's hidden rules?

The rules are published, but the ones that catch funded traders are the 3% cap on open risk (no stop-loss counts as 100%), the Quick Strike limit on trades under 30 seconds, the 40% news-profit split, gambling-behavior reviews and the device-sharing ban. There is also a pre-funding compliance review, and the Terms include a $25,000 penalty clause for prohibited practices.

Can you trade news with FundedNext?

Yes. News trading is unrestricted in challenges and on futures accounts. On funded and Instant CFD accounts, only 40% of profit from trades executed within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact release on a correlated symbol counts toward your payout, while losses count in full.

Are EAs allowed at FundedNext?

Only partly. EAs run on MT4 and MT5 accounts under $50K with a paid add-on that is never refunded; accounts of $50K or more must be traded manually, and cTrader and Match-Trader do not allow automation. Futures accounts allow bots through Tradovate connections.

Does FundedNext accept US traders?

Yes. US traders can buy all four Stellar CFD models, but only on Match-Trader, without EAs and without the 15% challenge reward; cTrader accounts stopped being sold to US clients on March 31, 2026. FundedNext Futures has served the US since April 2025.

Is there a FundedNext discount code?

As of October 1, 2026, FundedNext's own October Starter code STOCT cuts the 6K 2-Step to $34.99, the 6K 1-Step to $44.99, the 5K Lite to $29.99 and the 2K Instant to $49.99, with up to five uses and no announced end date. For futures, the firm's code RAPID takes up to 50% off Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily. A second and third CFD account in one order are 10% and 15% off.

Who owns FundedNext?

FundedNext belongs to NEXT Ventures, founded in 2016 by Syed Abdullah Jayed, who is CEO, and Abdullah Galib. Customers contract with GrowthNext F.Z.E. in the Ajman Free Zone, UAE, while affiliates in Comoros, Hong Kong and Cyprus run the trading environment, the website and payments.

What happens if I breach a FundedNext account?

The account closes as soon as the daily or maximum loss limit is hit. Challenge and Instant accounts can be reset at 10% off the original price, but once a 1-Step, 2-Step or Lite trader holds a funded account there is no reset option, and fees are not refunded once you have traded. Other rule violations can lead to profit deductions, a lower risk limit or termination.

FundedNext 1-Step vs 2-Step: which is easier?

The 2-Step is easier to pass for most traders: 8% and then 5% against a static 10% loss limit and 5% daily, versus 10% against only 6% maximum and 3% daily on the 1-Step. The 1-Step is faster and pays every 5 business days, but since January 2026 it refunds the fee only at the third payout.

Can you hold trades over the weekend with FundedNext?

Yes, on every CFD account at every stage, with swaps charged and tripled on Wednesday or Friday depending on the asset. Futures accounts cannot hold positions overnight because open trades are closed automatically at 3:10 PM CT.

How does the FundedNext 15% challenge reward work?

On the Stellar 1-Step and 2-Step, FundedNext pays 15% of the challenge profit target, but for accounts bought since January 12, 2026 only once you qualify for Pro Scale-Up, which takes at least two months, four payouts and 4% growth per qualifying cycle. US traders and Lite or Instant accounts do not get it.
