FundingPips review
Dubai-based CFD prop firm selling 1-step, 2-step and instant accounts since 2022
Our grade
Average
5.9 / 10 · ranked #5 of 10
FundingPips is one of the largest CFD prop firms in the world, and it pays quickly: PropFirmMatch's tracker logged 144,537 FundingPips payouts worth $155 million in the year to October 2026, with a median wait of about four hours. The trouble is what happens before the money moves. In 2026 the Dubai firm made at least nine dated rule changes, moved news enforcement onto its own calendar, closed a wave of funded accounts over device-ID matches, and used its terms to push some top traders into a PRIME account that absorbed their pending profit. Cheap entry and fast withdrawals are real, but so is the risk of losing an account to a rule you did not see coming.
FundingPips pays fast and sells cheap, but 2026's rule churn and device-ID bans demand caution
Our verdict
FundingPips gets the basics right where most buyers look first: entry is cheap ($33 for a $5K 2 Step Pro, $466 for $100K), drawdowns on the challenge models are static, there are no time limits, and payouts are fast and frequent. PropFirmMatch's tracker shows a median payout time of about four hours across more than 144,000 payouts in the past year, and weekly or bi-weekly cycles are standard.
The case against it is predictability. In 2026 the firm changed its rules at least nine times, began auto-closing Master positions before weekends and then, for new accounts, every day unless you pay for a Swing add-on, switched news enforcement to its own calendar, and closed many funded accounts over device-ID matches, often near a payout. Its Sept 28 overhaul removed per-trade risk caps for new buyers but, without saying so in the announcement, cut Flex bi-weekly splits from 85% to 80% and raised the 2 Step Flex Phase 2 target to 8%. The T&Cs reserve wide discretion, including mandatory PRIME conversion of profit that cannot then be withdrawn.
Our view: FundingPips suits disciplined intraday traders who trade alone from one device, close positions daily, check the dashboard calendar before every trade and take bi-weekly or weekly payouts rather than chasing the 100% monthly option. Swing traders, EA users who need a VPS, news traders and anyone sharing a household computer should look elsewhere or price in the add-ons and the enforcement risk.
Best for
Disciplined intraday forex traders on one personal device who want cheap 2-step entry and weekly or bi-weekly payouts
Avoid if
You hold trades overnight without the Swing add-on, share devices or networks with other traders, run EAs on a VPS, or trade news
Pros
- Fast payouts: PropFirmMatch tracked 144,537 FundingPips payouts worth $155M in the year to Oct 1, 2026, with a median processing time of about 4 hours.
- Low entry prices: $33 for a $5K and $466 for a $100K 2 Step Pro, with code FP taking 10% off for new customers (Oct 2026).
- Static drawdown on every challenge model and no time limits; 2 Step Flex and 1 Step Flex allow a 12% max loss.
- Frequent payout options: weekly 80% on 2 Step Pro, bi-weekly 80% on most models, and 100% monthly cycles.
- Three platforms (MT5 on its own license since March 2025, cTrader, Match-Trader), and US residents can trade via Match-Trader.
- Up to $400K allocation across accounts, Master-account merging and a 20% Phase 1 reset discount within 7 days of a breach on sizes up to $50K.
- Since Sept 28, 2026, new challenge accounts drop the per-trade-idea hard breach and the Profit Concentration rule, and weekly or bi-weekly payouts carry no consistency score.
Cons
- Master accounts close all positions daily (20:45-21:00 UTC in summer) and before weekends unless you buy the roughly 10% Swing add-on at checkout.
- Device-ID (CID) enforcement: dozens of 2026 reviews describe funded accounts terminated near payout because a device fingerprint matched another user.
- News rules follow FundingPips' own calendar; traders report medium-rated events treated as Restricted, and Zero accounts are closed for any trade in the window.
- At least nine dated rule changes in 2026; the Sept 2026 overhaul cut Flex bi-weekly splits from 85% to 80% and raised the 2 Step Flex Phase 2 target from 6% to 8%.
- The 100% monthly cycle requires a 35% consistency score, 7 profitable days of 0.5%+ and a 1% per-trade-idea Striking System.
- T&Cs let FundingPips move you into PRIME without consent; the profit used to open it cannot be withdrawn and all other accounts close.
- Offshore structure: the contracting entity is registered in the Comoros, disputes go to Dubai courts, and the T&Cs say rewards are not a company liability.

How we graded it
Weighted score 5.9/10 → grade C
Methodology →- Payouts 25%6.5
Fast and high-volume (median about 4 hours across 144,537 tracked payouts in a year), but recurring terminations near payout and the 2026 PRIME conversions keep it out of the top band.
- Rules & transparency 20%4.5
Bi-weekly cycles are now simple, but 2026 brought at least nine rule changes, some applied to existing accounts, plus device-ID enforcement, an in-house news calendar and contradictory documents.
- Reputation 20%5.5
Four years old with a named CEO and huge scale, but an offshore Comoros entity, a 2024 Trustpilot suspension, the 2026 PRIME controversy and a review profile carried by invitations.
- Trading conditions 15%6.5
Cheap 2 Step Pro ($466 per $100K) and static challenge drawdowns, but like-for-like prices rose 11-25% since July 2026, default splits are 80%, and holding overnight costs a roughly 10% add-on.
- Support 10%6.0
24/7 live chat and a 99% reply rate to negative reviews, yet about 28% of recent one-star reviews describe templated replies and no escalation.
- Platforms & execution 10%6.5
MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader, but US traders get Match-Trader only, and reviews report heavy slippage on metals and tiered leverage down to 1:5 on Master accounts.
Who is FundingPips for?
Fit by trading style
Beginners
OK with caveatsPrices from $33 and static drawdowns help, but frequent rule changes, the in-house news calendar and device-ID enforcement punish anyone who skips the fine print.
Experienced traders
OK with caveatsFast payouts and a $400K allocation suit them, but 1%-per-idea guidance, 'gambling' reviews and possible mandatory PRIME conversion add risk for anyone who sizes up.
Swing traders
Poor fitMaster accounts auto-close every position daily and before weekends unless you pay about 10% more for the Swing add-on, which also cuts FX leverage to 1:30 and doubles commission.
Scalpers
OK with caveatsIntraday scalping is allowed at $5 per lot on FX, but tick scalping and HFT are banned and traders report wide slippage on gold and silver.
EA & algo traders
Poor fitThird-party EAs may only manage trades, your own EA needs proof of ownership, and VPN or VPS connections are banned.
News traders
Poor fitMaster profits within 5 minutes of Restricted news (10 for speeches) are deducted, Zero closes the account for any news trade, and the firm's own calendar decides what is restricted.

Our read of the reviews
FundingPips' 4.5 TrustScore rests on invited reviews. Of the 35,917 reviews posted in the 12 months to Oct 1, 2026, 31,007 (86%) arrived through Trustpilot's automatic invitations and average 4.74 stars with 3.5% one-star; the 4,910 organic reviews average 3.19 stars and 42% are one-star. Our recent sample of 200 reviews covers only Sept 29 to Oct 1 because the firm collects close to 100 reviews a day; 82.5% are verified and 64% of the five-star reviews are under 80 characters, so the monthly series uses Trustpilot's own 12-month data for all 35,917 reviews.
The trend is negative. The one-to-two-star share rose from 8.5% in May 2026 to 11.4% in July and August and 12.8% in September, the highest in 12 months, while the organic one-star share hit 52% in September. The latest 200 one-star reviews (Sept 15 to Oct 1) are dominated by funded-stage enforcement rather than failed challenges: device-ID or linked-trading terminations (about 30%), support that repeats templates and won't escalate (28%), news breaches judged by FundingPips' own calendar (22%, many on Zero), closures or deductions near a payout (16%), rule changes such as the Striking System and weekend auto-closing (14%), and slippage or stop-loss fills (12%).
The praise is real but thin on detail: about 38% of positive reviews are short endorsements, 21% thank named support agents, 18% like the platform, and only 6% describe fast payouts, though those that do report payment within minutes or hours. Read the long one-star reviews before buying: the common thread is losing a funded account at the payout stage to a rule the trader did not expect.

Challenge pass rate
10%
~10% (our estimate)
Bar = this firm · line = average of the 10 firms we grade (10.1%)
FundingPips does not publish pass rates. We estimate about 10% of challenge attempts reach a Master account by comparing its 2-step models (8%+5% or 6%+6% targets, 3-5% daily limits) with published figures: E8 Markets reported 11% on its 2-step in November 2025 (via The Prop Journalist), and FPFX Tech data on 300,000 accounts at 10 firms (Finance Magnates, 2024) found 14% of traders, not attempts, passed and 7% reached a payout. Zero is instant funding and has no pass rate.

FundingPips hidden rules
The fine print
Hidden Risk score
5.8/10
Very high risk
Average: 6.3
Most FundingPips losses we found were not failed challenges but enforcement at the funded stage: device-ID matches, news breaches judged by the firm's own calendar, daily auto-closes on Master accounts without the Swing add-on, and Monthly-cycle conditions the help center still lists after a September 2026 announcement said they were gone. The T&Cs add broad discretion, including mandatory PRIME conversion of profit that cannot be withdrawn.
- highaccount
Device-ID (CID) matching can end funded accounts
Accounts whose device fingerprint matches another registered user are treated as shared or coordinated and terminated; traders report the check often lands at the Master or payout stage, with appeals declared final. Device-ID and copy/reverse-trading terminations were the top theme (about 30%) of the 200 latest one-star Trustpilot reviews.

News windows set by FundingPips' own calendar
Only the dashboard Economic Calendar counts. Master accounts lose profit on trades opened or closed 5 minutes either side of Restricted news (10 minutes for speeches) unless opened 5+ hours earlier, and on Zero any trade in a 10-minute window is a hard breach. Traders report events rated medium elsewhere being restricted and events added during the day.
Source - highstrategy
Master accounts auto-close positions daily without the Swing add-on
On 1 Step Flex and 2-step Master accounts bought since Sept 28, 2026, the system closes every open position at 20:45-21:00 UTC in summer (21:45-22:00 in winter) and before weekends unless the roughly 10% Swing add-on was bought at checkout. Closed days don't count as trading days, and the add-on raises commission to $10 per lot and cuts FX leverage to 1:30.

About FundingPips
Founded 2022 · Dubai, United Arab Emirates
FundingPips launched in Dubai in 2022 under founder and CEO Khaled Ayesh. Traders contract with FundingPips Corp, a company registered on Moheli in the Comoros (no. HY01223081). Per its site footer it holds an offshore brokerage license (BFX2024004) from the Mwali International Services Authority, whose public verification page lists the license term as ending in January 2026. The site also gives a registered address in Dubai's IFZA Business Park and names a Cyprus support entity, FundingPips Services Ltd. Third-party company directories link the Dubai operation to ANKH Prop FZCO, registered in August 2022. Andria Evripidou, a former Revolut executive who spent five years at the UK's FCA, joined as Group Managing Director in August 2025, and the firm says it employs 200+ people across five offices.
Growth has been steep by the firm's own numbers: $110 million in rewards and 1 million traders in March 2025, $180 million and 2 million traders in November 2025, and $314 million and 3 million traders by October 2026. Around the core business it has built a group: the FundingTicks futures brand, the Tradin brokerage (rewards moved there get a 30% trading credit), the invite-only PRIME program that scales top traders toward $2 million, and FundingPips Labs, which sells limited experimental accounts (none were live on Oct 1, 2026).
The road has been bumpy. MetaQuotes cut off its MT5 access in February 2024, forcing a move to Match-Trader, cTrader and TradeLocker until MT5 returned on FundingPips' own license in March 2025, still excluding US and Canadian residents. Trustpilot temporarily suspended its profile in June 2024 after a surge of reviews tied to media coverage, and in September 2026 Finance Magnates reported that about 70% of a 100-trader PRIME pool had been moved into the program without a choice.
Trader tip
Trade every FundingPips account from one personal device and home network, never route through a VPN or VPS, and keep proof of your device and location; device-ID matches drove the largest share of September 2026 one-star reviews. Before each trade, check the dashboard Economic Calendar for Restricted events rather than Forex Factory, and if you hold trades past the daily auto-close (20:45 UTC in summer), buy the Swing add-on at checkout because it cannot be added later.

FundingPips FAQ
Questions traders ask
Is FundingPips legit?
It is a large, operating firm that pays: PropFirmMatch tracked about 144,500 FundingPips payouts worth $155 million in the year to October 2026. It is also offshore: traders contract with FundingPips Corp in the Comoros, all accounts are simulated, and the T&Cs give the firm wide discretion over terminations and rewards.
Does FundingPips actually pay out?
Yes, at high volume and speed; PropFirmMatch's payout tracker shows a median of about four hours and one reported delay in the past year. The risk is not slow payouts but accounts closed before payout, mostly over device-ID matches, alleged copy or reverse trading, or news-window breaches.
How long do FundingPips payouts take?
The official window is 1-3 working days plus 1-2 days for funds to arrive, but most traders report same-day payment and tracked data shows a median of about four hours. Close all trades and wait 15 minutes before requesting, and note the $500 minimum for Rise and bank transfers.
What is the FundingPips pass rate?
FundingPips does not publish one. Based on its 2-step targets and published data for comparable programs (11% to 14%), we estimate roughly 10% of challenge attempts reach a Master account; Zero accounts are instantly funded and have no pass rate.
What are FundingPips' hidden rules?
The ones that cost traders most are the device-ID (CID) linking rule, news windows judged by FundingPips' own calendar, daily auto-closing of Master positions unless you bought the Swing add-on, and the conditions on the 100% monthly cycle (35% consistency, 7 profitable days, a 1% Striking System). Zero adds a 5% trailing drawdown and a 1% open-loss limit.
Can you trade news with FundingPips?
In evaluations you can hold and manage trades through news, but deliberately trading the release is still grounds for closure. On Master accounts, profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of Restricted news (10 minutes for speeches) is deducted unless the trade was opened 5+ hours earlier; on Zero, any trade in the 10-minute window ends the account.
Are EAs allowed at FundingPips?
Only partly. Third-party EAs may be used solely as trade or risk managers, while a fully automated EA must be your own, and FundingPips may ask for source code or a live walkthrough as proof. VPN and VPS connections are banned under the help center rules.
Does FundingPips accept US traders?
Yes, but only on Match-Trader: MT5 and cTrader are not available to US residents, and neither is PRIME, which runs on MT5 only. Residents of Iran, Vietnam, the UAE and sanctioned jurisdictions cannot sign up.
Is there a FundingPips discount code?
As of Oct 1, 2026, the site banner offers code FP for 10% off for new customers and 5% off for existing ones. The help center also lists HELLO for 20% off a first purchase through guest checkout, excluding $100K accounts.
Who owns FundingPips?
FundingPips was founded by CEO Khaled Ayesh and operates from Dubai. The contracting entity is FundingPips Corp, registered in the Comoros with an offshore license from the Mwali International Services Authority; directories link the Dubai operation to ANKH Prop FZCO, and Andria Evripidou has been Group Managing Director since August 2025.
What happens if I breach a FundingPips account?
The account locks at once, open trades are closed, and it switches to view-only. A discounted reset is offered for 7 days: 20% off Phase 1 at $50K and below, 15% above that, 12% off Phase 2, 8% off a Master account and 20% off Zero, and challenge resets restart at Phase 1.
FundingPips 1-step vs 2-step: which is easier?
1 Step Flex needs a single 12% gain with a 12% max loss but only a 2% or 3% daily limit, so one bad day can end it. 2 Step Pro has the lowest targets (6% + 6%) but a tight 6% max loss, while 2 Step Flex trades higher targets (10% + 8%) for a 12% buffer and a 4% daily limit, which most traders will find more forgiving.
Why do FundingPips accounts get banned for device ID (CID)?
FundingPips fingerprints the devices used to access accounts and treats a match with another registered user as account sharing or coordinated trading. Traders who used a shared household computer, an old VPS or someone else's phone report terminations, often at the funded stage, so trade only from your own devices.
What is FundingPips PRIME?
PRIME is an invite-only account for top funded traders: profit after the split times 12.5 sets the account size, with an 8% static max loss, a 3% soft daily loss and daily 80% rewards up to $2M. The T&Cs make an invitation mandatory, the sizing profit cannot be withdrawn, and all your Evaluation and Master accounts close when PRIME opens.
