What is the difference between a forex and a CFD prop firm?
Nothing, in practice. Forex prop firms trade currency pairs as CFDs, and almost all of them also offer indices, metals and energies as CFDs on the same account.
Which forex prop firm is best for beginners?
Look for a static drawdown, no time limit and a refundable fee, and avoid firms whose recent reviews report payouts refused over rules you can't find in advance. The grades and hidden-risk scores below cover both.
Do forex prop firms allow news trading and EAs?
It varies by firm and often by account type: many allow both during the evaluation and restrict news trading on funded accounts. Each review lists exactly what is allowed.
