For Traders review
Dubai-based multi-asset prop firm for forex, crypto and CME futures, founded in 2023
Our grade
Weak
5.1 / 10 · ranked #8 of 10
For Traders is a three-year-old prop firm run from Dubai and Prague that sells cheap forex, crypto and CME futures evaluations, from a $9 Pay After Pass entry to an $878 instant account, on MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker and its own futures app. It pays plenty of small rewards quickly, $10.0M at a 14-hour average by its own count, and its live chat is among the best-reviewed in the industry. The catch sits on the funded side: a 2% floating-loss tripwire that halves your split, consistency caps, payout caps and T&C that make every reward discretionary, which is exactly where most of its one-star reviews come from.
Cheap to start and quick with small rewards, but the funded-stage rules and contract favor the house
Our verdict
For Traders gets a lot right on the surface. Entry is cheap ($9 Pay After Pass promotions, $49 for a 6K Fast challenge), no current program has a time limit, the Classic 2-step uses a static 8% drawdown at a mid-market $599 for $100K, and the live chat is genuinely fast. Futures traders get a one-time-fee evaluation with on-demand payouts, which is rarer than it should be.
The problems start once you are funded. Forex Master accounts carry a 2% floating-loss tripwire that halves your split the first time and closes the account the second, Pay After Pass and Instant accounts add consistency caps and a 3% buffer you cannot withdraw, and payouts are capped at $15,000 per cycle (as little as $800 on a 25K futures account). Behind that sit T&C that call every reward discretionary, let the firm refuse a passed trader for any or no reason and enforce breaches retroactively, plus a Master contract that, according to traders who quote it, allows termination without cause. Those clauses match the single biggest Trustpilot complaint: accounts closed right after a payout request.
Our view: For Traders is a reasonable place to take small, cheap shots at a funded account and collect modest rewards, and plenty of traders do get paid. It is a poor fit if you plan to scale into large, repeated payouts, because that is when the discretionary review applies and when the recurring complaints say accounts get closed. Trade small, withdraw often, hold every trade longer than five seconds and treat a 2% open loss as your real limit.
Best for
Budget-minded forex, crypto or futures traders who size small, withdraw modest amounts regularly and can live with consistency rules and a 2% open-loss ceiling.
Avoid if
You scalp trades under five seconds, run autonomous EAs or copy trades in, sit through wide floating drawdowns, or are counting on large payouts surviving a discretionary risk review.
Pros
- Cheap entry: Pay After Pass costs $29-$69 up front (promoted at $9 on Oct 1, 2026), and the $189-$999 activation fee is charged only if you pass.
- No time limit on any current challenge phase or Master account.
- Classic 2-step pairs 8%/5% targets with a static 8% max loss for $599 per $100K at list price.
- Real platform choice: MT5, cTrader and TradeLocker for forex and crypto, plus For Traders X for CME futures on a one-time fee with no monthly subscription.
- 48-business-hour wallet guarantee backed by a 100% profit split if missed; the firm reports a 14-hour average and $10.0M paid.
- Zero commission on indices and $3 per lot on FX.
- 24/7 live chat in English, Spanish and Czech that reviewers consistently rate as fast.
Cons
- Forex Master accounts close every trade and cut the split to 50% at a 2% floating loss, then close the account on a second hit.
- The T&C make rewards discretionary (capped at $30,000 per trade idea), allow refusing a passed trader for any or no reason and enforce breaches retroactively.
- 38% of the latest 202 one- and two-star Trustpilot reviews describe terminations or refusals right after a payout request.
- Payouts are capped at $15,000 per cycle on forex and $800 on a 25K futures account, with a 3% non-withdrawable buffer on Pay After Pass and Instant accounts.
- Withdrawals cost $25 (crypto) or $50 (Rise), and crypto trades cost $25 per lot.
- Trustpilot hides the rating after removing fake reviews, and none of the 200 latest reviews is Verified.
- Autonomous EAs, inbound copy trading and trades under 5 seconds are banned, and futures accounts are intraday only.
For Traders scorecard
How we graded it
Weighted score 5.1/10 → grade D
Methodology →- Payouts 25%5.0
Many small rewards are paid quickly, but 38% of recent one- and two-star reviews describe terminations or refusals at payout time, and the T&C make every reward discretionary.
- Rules & transparency 20%4.3
Rules are documented but scattered and layered (2% floating-loss split cut, four different consistency caps, buffers, a 5-second hold), and the T&C allow retroactive enforcement and rejection for any or no reason.
- Reputation 20%4.5
Three years old with a public CEO and offices in Dubai and Prague, but Trustpilot hides its rating after removing fake reviews, ownership beyond the CEO is undisclosed and the contracting entities sit offshore.
- Trading conditions 15%5.5
List prices sit mid-market ($599 Classic, $469 Fast per $100K) with no time limits, but mostly fixed 80% splits, $15,000 payout caps and Master-account restrictions cut the real value.
- Support 10%6.0
24/7 live chat in English, Spanish and Czech is the most praised part of the firm, but the risk team is often described as slow or silent once an account is flagged.
- Platforms & execution 10%6.3
MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker and a DXtrade-based futures app give real choice, offset by a deliberate execution delay of up to 250 ms and recurring slippage and spread complaints.
Who is For Traders for?
Fit by trading style
Beginners
OK with caveatsA $9 Pay After Pass entry, $49 6K challenges and no time limits make cheap practice, but the Master-stage rules (2% floating-loss cut, 20% consistency, 3% buffer) are where inexperienced traders lose accounts.
Experienced traders
Poor fitProfitable traders report the most friction: rewards are discretionary, the Master contract reportedly allows termination without cause, and payouts are capped at $15,000 per cycle within a $300,000 allocation.
Swing traders
OK with caveatsOvernight and weekend holds are allowed on forex and crypto and the Classic uses a static 8% max loss, but the 2% open-loss tripwire on Master accounts punishes wide stops and futures are intraday only.
Scalpers
Poor fitTrades must stay open at least 5 seconds, tick scalping is banned, the server adds up to 250 ms of delay, and several 2026 payout denials cite sub-5-second trades.
EA & algo traders
Poor fitOnly decision-support EAs are allowed; anything that opens, manages or closes trades on its own is a banned bot, and algo-like patterns are flagged by the firm's AI risk review.
News traders
OK with caveatsNews trading is free in challenges and on crypto and futures, but forex Master and Instant accounts cannot open trades 5 minutes either side of high-impact releases.

Red flags in the reviews
- · Trustpilot hides the rating for a guidelines breach and says it removed fake reviews (2026); For Traders was one of more than 20 prop firms flagged that way.
- · None of the 200 most recent reviews is Verified; 76% of 4-5 star reviews name a support agent and 36% of 5-star reviews are under 80 characters, a pattern typical of chat-solicited reviews.
- · Only 11 of 158 recent positive reviews say the writer received a payout.
- · Two September 2026 four-star reviews say a third-party service on Telegram passed the challenge for them, which the rules prohibit.
- · Repeated reports of accounts terminated right after a payout request, some quoting a contract clause that allows termination without cause.
- · October 2025 saw 33 one- and two-star reviews in a single month, mostly copy-trading and automation denials.
Our read of the reviews
We pulled the 200 most recent Trustpilot reviews (June 12 to September 30, 2026) and the 202 most recent one- and two-star reviews, going back to September 2025. The recent sample is 79% positive and 18.5% negative, and the monthly numbers improved: the negative share fell from about 24-26% in June and July to 13-15% in August and September, and one- and two-star volume dropped from 33 in October 2025 to 7-8 a month by late summer 2026.
The praise is narrow. 84% of four- and five-star reviews are about live-chat support, three in four name an individual agent (Juan, Pavel, Tony or Noel), 36% of five-star reviews are under 80 characters and none of the 200 carries Trustpilot's Verified label. Only 11 of 158 positive reviews say the writer actually received a payout. Together with Trustpilot's own notice that it removed fake reviews and hid the rating, the star average tells you more about the support desk than about payouts.
The complaints are specific and repetitive. 38% of the negative sample describe an account closed or a reward refused at the payout stage, citing copy trading, bots, shared IPs, identity mismatches, the old 40% margin rule, sub-5-second trades or a contract clause allowing termination without cause. About a quarter say a rule (consistency, the 2% floating-loss protection, inactivity) was unclear or only enforced when they asked for money, and a similar share involve KYC rejections or verification-call interviews.
Method: we collected the 200 most recent Trustpilot reviews plus the most recent 202 1–2★ reviews, classified every review by theme and read the samples by hand. Shares are of the stated sample. How we analyze reviews
For Traders pass rate
How hard is it to pass?
Challenge pass rate
8%
~8% (our estimate)
Bar = this firm · line = average of the 10 firms we grade (10.1%)
For Traders publishes no pass rate; its blog quotes an industry 5-10% range and says it is not a For Traders figure. FTMO-style 2-step programs have disclosed roughly 10%: the Classic (8%/5% targets, 8% static loss) is comparable, the best-selling Fast 1-step (9% under a 6% trailing loss) is harder, and a post-pass KYC and risk review can still refuse the Master account, so we estimate about 8% of standard attempts get funded. Pay After Pass (2% target) passes far more often but then requires a $189-$999 activation fee.

For Traders hidden rules
The fine print
Hidden Risk score
6.8/10
Very high risk
Average: 6.3
Most of the risk sits after you pass. Forex Master accounts carry a 2% floating-loss tripwire that halves the split, several programs add consistency caps and a non-withdrawable buffer, and payouts are capped per cycle. On top of that the T&C call every reward discretionary, allow breaches to be enforced months later and let the firm refuse a passed trader for any or no reason, and traders quote a Master contract that permits termination without cause. Those clauses line up with the most common Trustpilot complaint.
- highdrawdown
2% floating-loss Drawdown Protection
On forex Master accounts (except Instant PRO), an open loss of 2% of the starting balance closes every trade and cuts the profit split to 50% for that account; a second hit closes the account. The advertised 3-4% daily and 5-8% max limits are therefore not your working limits.
Source - highdiscretion
Rewards are discretionary and termination needs no cause
T&C 17.3-17.4 let the firm approve, adjust, delay or decline any reward and cap rewards at $30,000 per trade idea; clause 13.2 lets it refuse a passed trader for any or no reason; reviewers quote a Master contract clause allowing either party to end the agreement without cause.
Source - highdiscretion
Retroactive enforcement
T&C 10.4-10.5 say conduct rules can be reviewed at upgrade or payout time and breaches found weeks or months later can cancel or reduce profits, reset a phase or end all cooperation. Many denials in reviews arrive only after a payout request.

About For Traders
Founded 2023 · Dubai, United Arab Emirates
For Traders launched in mid-2023 (Prop Firm Match lists June 2023) and is led by co-founder and CEO Jakub Rož, a Czech tech entrepreneur. The firm calls Dubai its headquarters (Goldcrest Executive, JLT) and runs development and marketing from Prague. Services are contracted through BLN Tech Club DMCC in Dubai, the website is copyrighted to FT Trading Ltd. of Saint Lucia and the T&C are governed by Czech law. Shareholders beyond the CEO are not disclosed, and the firm describes itself as an educational simulation company rather than a financial-services provider.
It started with forex challenges on its own MT5 server, cTrader and TradeLocker, added CME futures in April 2025 through a For Traders X app built on Devexperts' DXtrade, added more than 70 crypto pairs, and in 2026 rolled out Pay After Pass, a Loyalty Club and a Prediction Markets competition. It claims 150,000+ customers in 130+ countries, a team of 40+ and $10,019,432 paid out. Divided, those two claims come to roughly $67 paid per customer, a low ratio, although the customer count likely includes many free tournament and giveaway accounts, such as the 50,000 free 6K accounts claimed in one day in May 2026 after a giveaway code broke.
The rulebook changes often. Drawdown Protection and a reworked Instant account arrived in April 2026, a wallet-based withdrawal system with fees followed, accounts bought from June 8, 2026 run on a revised rulebook with lower Master leverage and decision-support EAs allowed, and the 3-step Strike challenge was withdrawn in August 2026. Older accounts keep the rules they were sold under, so two traders on the same program can face different limits.
Trader tip
On any forex Master account, treat a 2% open loss as your hard stop: the first hit closes everything and halves your split on that account for good, the second ends it. Request smaller rewards more often instead of one large withdrawal, keep 3% above the starting balance on Pay After Pass and Instant accounts, and book any verification call within 48 hours, because missing it can cancel the reward.

For Traders FAQ
Questions traders ask
Is For Traders legit?
For Traders is a real company operating since 2023, with a named CEO (Jakub Rož), offices in Dubai and Prague and a claimed $10.0 million paid to traders. It is not a regulated financial firm, and its T&C make every reward discretionary. Treat it as legitimate but high-discretion: it pays, and it keeps wide rights to refuse.
Does For Traders actually pay out?
Yes. Many traders report payouts, some within a day, and Prop Firm Match users rate it 4.5/5 from 301 reviews. But 38% of the latest 202 one- and two-star Trustpilot reviews describe accounts closed or rewards refused at the payout stage, so smaller, regular withdrawals carry less risk than one large request.
How long do For Traders payouts take?
The firm guarantees the reward reaches your dashboard wallet within 48 business hours, then usually pays out to Rise or crypto within a few hours; it reports a 14-hour average. The guarantee lapses if the risk team asks for a verification call or clarification, and some 2026 reviewers waited one to four weeks in those cases.
What is the For Traders pass rate?
For Traders does not publish one. We estimate about 8% of standard challenge attempts reach a funded Master account, based on its targets and drawdowns versus FTMO-style programs that have disclosed roughly 10%, less post-pass KYC and risk-review refusals. Pay After Pass, with a 2% target, is passed far more often, but you then owe a $189-$999 activation fee within five days.
What are For Traders' hidden rules?
The ones that catch most traders are the 2% floating-loss Drawdown Protection on forex Master accounts (first hit halves your split, second closes the account), consistency caps of 15-40% depending on the program, a 3% buffer on Pay After Pass and Instant accounts, the 5-second minimum hold and the ban on making 70% of a target from one trade or one directional bet. The T&C also allow breaches to be enforced retroactively.
Can you trade news with For Traders?
Yes during challenges and on crypto and futures accounts. On forex Master and Instant accounts you cannot open a trade within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact release; profits from such trades are not counted, though positions opened earlier can be held through the event.
Are EAs allowed at For Traders?
Only as decision support. Tools that alert you, size positions or manage partial exits under your control are fine; anything that opens, manages or closes trades on its own is classed as a bot and banned. Accounts bought before June 8, 2026 were sold under rules that listed EAs as forbidden.
Does For Traders accept US traders?
Yes. The US is not on the restricted list and the site shows payout certificates for US traders. Restricted countries include the UAE, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Russia, Belarus, Cuba and several others.
Is there a For Traders discount code?
Yes. As of October 1, 2026 the firm's own promo page lists TRADE15 (15% off all plans), NEW20 (20% off for new customers), NEWINSTANT (50% off Instant accounts) and NEWPRO (50% off the futures challenge), one code per order. Pay After Pass entries were also promoted at $9.
Who owns For Traders?
Jakub Rož is the co-founder and CEO. Services are contracted through BLN Tech Club DMCC in Dubai, the website is copyrighted to FT Trading Ltd. of Saint Lucia, and the T&C are governed by Czech law. Shareholders beyond that are not disclosed.
What happens if I breach a For Traders account?
A hard breach of the daily or max loss closes the account, the fee is not refunded and there is no paid reset option. For prohibited practices the firm can cancel profits, refuse the Master upgrade or end every account you hold, and a chargeback brings a permanent ban.
For Traders 1-step vs 2-step: which is easier?
For most traders the Classic 2-step is easier: 8% then 5% targets with a static 8% max loss and a 4% daily limit. The Fast 1-step asks for 9% in one go under a 6% trailing drawdown that follows your highest balance, which punishes giving back open gains. Both lead to the same 80% Master account.
How does For Traders Pay After Pass work?
You pay a small entry fee ($29-$69 list, promoted at $9) for a 1-step challenge with a 2% target and a 6% trailing drawdown, then an activation fee of $189 to $999 within five days of passing. The Master account adds a 20% consistency rule, a 3% buffer, the 2% floating-loss protection and an 80% split.
Why is For Traders' Trustpilot rating hidden?
Trustpilot says the rating is unavailable because the company breached its guidelines and that it removed a number of fake reviews. For Traders was one of more than 20 prop firms flagged this way in mid-2026. The profile still shows 1,768 reviews, 72% five-star and 19% one-star.
