The5ers review
Raanana, Israel-based CFD and futures prop firm with 1-, 2- and 3-step programs since 2016
Our grade
Average
6.1 / 10 · ranked #4 of 10
The5ers has funded traders since 2016 and still sells some of the cheapest routes into a large account: a $100K two-step for $149 on its Summer Plan, a $100K Bootcamp for $95 upfront, and scaling ladders that run to $4 million. The catch in 2026 is what happens when you ask to be paid. Its risk team has been closing accounts for coordinated trading, one-sided bets and failed interviews, the cause behind roughly four in ten recent 1-star reviews, and a funded $100K High Stakes account can pay out no more than $4,000 per cycle, minus a 3.5% fee.
Cheap entry and long scaling ladders, but payout-stage risk reviews made The5ers a riskier bet in 2026
Our verdict
On paper The5ers is still one of the better-value firms around. Every evaluation has unlimited time and a static max loss, a $100K High Stakes New costs $405 against the $400-$600 typical for a two-step, the Summer Plan sells the same size for $149, and the Hyper Growth and Bootcamp ladders run to $4M. Ten years of trading history under a named Israeli company, and a claimed $43M paid across 20,000-plus payouts, put it well ahead of most of the firms that launched after 2022.
The problem is what happens at the payout desk. The firm admitted delays in March 2026, and from August a wave of terminations followed: accounts closed for coordinated trading judged on similar entries to strangers, one-sided bets, bulk trading or a failed interview, with profits forfeited. The rulebook gives the risk team that room through undefined terms like unusual sizing and concentrated exposure, a five-day interview deadline and a clause against disparaging the firm in public. Payout caps of $3,000-$4,000 on $50K-$100K High Stakes accounts and a 3.5% fee on every withdrawal cut the real value further, and a 4.7 Trustpilot score built on about 50 invited reviews a day hides most of this.
The5ers still suits a manual, two-sided FX trader with modest size who wants a cheap evaluation and is happy to scale slowly. Treat the payout cap as your real income, withdraw every cycle, keep a dated journal of every setup, and avoid one-direction streaks, copied signals and EAs without written approval. If your edge depends on news spikes, automation or large single withdrawals, pick a firm with fewer discretionary clauses.
Best for
Manual FX traders who want a cheap, no-time-limit evaluation and plan to scale slowly with steady, two-sided trading and modest position sizes.
Avoid if
You trade news releases, run EAs or copied signals, hold one-directional trend positions, or expect large single withdrawals from a $50K-$100K account.
Pros
- No time limit on any evaluation and a static max loss on every CFD program, so there is no clock or trailing floor to race
- Low entry prices as of October 2026: $19 for a $2.5K High Stakes, $95 upfront for a $100K Bootcamp, $405 for a $100K High Stakes New and $149 for a $100K Summer Plan two-step
- Scaling ladders to $4M on Hyper Growth and Bootcamp; High Stakes adds a fixed $4,000-$10,000 monthly payment on top of a 100% split from $350K
- High Stakes fee comes back in stages: 10% and 20% as hub credit after each step and 70% in cash with the first payout
- Ten-year operating history under a named Israeli company, with a firm-reported $43M+ paid across 20,000+ payouts
- MT5, cTrader and a native TradingView terminal for CFDs plus BlackArrow futures; US traders accepted via TradingView since February 2026
- Leverage up to 1:100 on FX in High Stakes and the Summer Plan
Cons
- About 38% of one- and two-star reviews from August-September 2026 describe accounts closed at payout stage for coordinated trading, one-sided bets, bulk trading or failed interviews
- Per-payout caps: $3,000 on a $50K and $4,000 on a $100K High Stakes account, $2,000 on a $100K Summer Plan, $1,250 on a $25K futures account
- Every cash withdrawal costs 3.5% (Rise, crypto or bank), and crypto payouts are limited to $1,500 per request
- No order may execute 2 minutes either side of high-impact news on High Stakes and Summer Plan accounts, and profit from such trades is deducted
- Hyper Growth and Bootcamp start at a 50% split, and Hyper Growth charges $260 for a $5K account
- T&C require any requested video interview within five business days, need written approval for EAs, and allow termination for disparaging posts on review sites
- The firm acknowledged payout delays in March 2026 and changed CEO in August 2026
The5ers scorecard
How we graded it
Weighted score 6.1/10 → grade C
Methodology →- Payouts 25%6.0
A decade of payouts and many same-day withdrawals, but the firm admitted delays in March 2026 and an August-September 2026 wave of payout-stage denials puts it in the recurring-complaints band.
- Rules & transparency 20%5.0
Most limits are published, but bans on one-sided bets, bulk trading, unusual sizing and trade coordination have no thresholds and are enforced at payout time, and the T&C add a five-day interview deadline and a non-disparagement clause.
- Reputation 20%6.5
Ten years old with named owners and regular trade-press coverage, but its TrustScore slid from 4.9 to 4.7, most new 5-star reviews are short invited posts, Forex Peace Army rates it 1/5, and the CEO changed in August 2026.
- Trading conditions 15%7.0
Static drawdown, no time limits and entry prices from $19 ($405 for a $100K High Stakes, $149 on the Summer Plan) are strong value, offset by per-payout caps, a 3.5% withdrawal fee and 50% starting splits on Hyper Growth and Bootcamp.
- Support 10%6.0
A help center with more than 140 articles and replies to 95% of negative reviews, but email office hours are Sunday-Thursday 07:00-15:00 GMT and slow risk-team and KYC responses are a top complaint.
- Platforms & execution 10%6.5
MT5, cTrader (+$10) and a native TradingView terminal for CFDs plus BlackArrow for futures, but recent reviews report wide gold spreads, stop-loss slippage around news and a liquidity-provider data fault.
Who is The5ers for?
Fit by trading style
Beginners
OK with caveatsEntry from $19 (High Stakes $2.5K) or $22 (Bootcamp) with no time limit is forgiving, but the T&C say evaluations are not meant for traders without experience and payout-stage interviews require you to explain your strategy.
Experienced traders
OK with caveatsScaling to $500K-$4M and up to a 100% split reward patience, but $3,000-$4,000 payout caps on $50K-$100K High Stakes accounts and discretionary risk reviews limit how fast a strong trader can take profit out.
Swing traders
OK with caveatsOvernight and weekend holding are allowed on every CFD program with no time limit, but swaps are high (oil x10 at weekends), swap-free is funded-only on request, and a persistent directional bias can be flagged as one-sided betting.
Scalpers
OK with caveatsShort-term trading is allowed and FX commission is $4 per lot, but trades lasting seconds, tick scalping and simultaneous bulk entries are banned, and reviewers complain about gold spreads and stop slippage.
EA & algo traders
Poor fitThe T&C require written approval for any automated software, third-party and copy EAs are banned, futures prohibit algorithmic trading, and server-load and bulk-trading rules target bots.
News traders
OK with caveatsHigh Stakes and Summer Plan block order execution 2 minutes either side of red-folder news and strip the profit, but Hyper Growth, Pro Growth and Bootcamp allow news (no bracketing) and futures have no news restriction.

Tickets and emails unanswered for days, generic replies to execution disputes, and risk or KYC reviews with no timeline.

Funded accounts withheld after passing because third-party KYC failed, the profile name did not match the ID, or the card used belonged to someone else.
- Daily-loss breach disputes9%

Red flags in the reviews
- · Roughly 50 new reviews a day, 94% carrying Trustpilot's Verified (invited) label and 62% of the 4-5 star ones under 80 characters, a pattern typical of heavily solicited reviews
- · About 200 of the profile's 1,219 all-time 1-star reviews were posted in the eight weeks to September 30, 2026
- · Repeated reports of accounts closed for coordinated trading on the basis of similar entries to an unnamed trader
- · Several reviewers say the firm asked them to remove negative reviews, and the September 2026 T&C allow termination for disparaging the firm on review sites
- · Forex Peace Army notes that The5ers and Trade The Pool offered compensation for promotional posts on its forum
Our read of the reviews
The5ers' Trustpilot profile looks spotless from a distance: 4.7 from 38,828 reviews, 90% of them five stars. Up close, the inflow is dominated by short invited reviews. The 200 most recent reviews were all posted between September 28 and October 1, 2026, about 50 a day; 94% carry the Verified label, 62% of the 4-5 star reviews are under 80 characters, and reviewers in India and Vietnam wrote 87 of the 200. The longer positive reviews mostly praise payouts arriving within hours to three days, clear rules and responsive support, with the cheap Summer Plan a frequent mention.
The negative side is concentrated and recent. About 200 of the 1,219 one-star reviews the profile has ever received were posted between August 4 and September 30, 2026, a steady 20 to 30 a week. Around 38% of the 225 one- and two-star reviews we analysed describe accounts closed or payouts refused after a risk review, most often for coordinated trading judged by similarity to an unknown trader, one-sided bets, bulk trading or a failed ownership interview. The next clusters are unresponsive support (20%), slippage, spreads and price-feed problems (18%) and KYC or card-name rejections (10%).
The direction is negative even though the headline score has barely moved. One-star reviews currently make up about 5% of new reviews against 3.1% all-time, and outside coverage puts the TrustScore at 4.9 before 2025. Some reviewers also say the firm pushed them to take reviews down, and the terms now treat disparaging posts as grounds for termination, so the visible negative count is more likely understated than inflated.
Method: we collected the 200 most recent Trustpilot reviews plus the most recent 225 1–2★ reviews, classified every review by theme and read the samples by hand. Shares are of the stated sample. How we analyze reviews
The5ers pass rate
How hard is it to pass?
Challenge pass rate
9%
~9% (our estimate)
Bar = this firm · line = average of the 10 firms we grade (10.1%)
The5ers does not publish a pass rate. We start from the roughly 10% challenge pass rates disclosed for FTMO-style 10%/5% two-steps, which High Stakes New and the Summer Plan two-step mirror, then adjust down for the 4%/8% limits on $50K-$100K High Stakes, the 3% daily loss on Summer Plan accounts, and the harder Growth (10% target against a 6% stop-out) and three-step Bootcamp programs. The5ers' blog cites an FPFX Tech industry figure of about 14% passing and 7% ever paid, which is not The5ers-specific data.

Very high risk
Average: 6.3
Most of The5ers' limits are written down, but the rules that cost traders money in 2026 are judgment calls enforced at payout time: coordinated trading judged by similar entries, one-sided bets, bulk trading and unusual sizing, backed by a five-day interview deadline and a non-disparagement clause. Payout caps on $50K-$100K accounts, a 3.5% withdrawal fee and a two-minute news window are documented but easy to miss.

Risk reviews at payout time
Payout and scaling requests go through a risk review that can end in termination for trade coordination or copy trading with other accounts. Dozens of August-September 2026 reviews say the evidence was similar entries by an unknown trader, with no shared IP, device or payment link shown.

One-sided bets, bulk trading and sizing rules
The prohibited list bans consistently trading one direction, opening several trades at the same time, and position sizes substantially larger or smaller than your usual. None of these has a numeric threshold.

Five-day video interview deadline
If the firm requests an interview, it must be both scheduled and completed within five business days, or pending payouts are denied and all associated accounts are cancelled.

About The5ers
Founded 2016 · Raanana, Israel
The5ers, styled The5%ers, is the brand of Five Percent Online Ltd, registered in Israel (company no. 515864007) with an office in Raanana, plus a UK company of the same name. Founder Gil Ben Hur, a forex day trader since 2007, launched it in 2016 with a one-step funding model; according to the firm's own timeline it added a free evaluation in 2021, the three-step Bootcamp in 2022 and the two-step High Stakes in 2023.
As of October 2026 the company reports 171 employees in 24 countries, 1.6 million accounts and about 4,376 payouts a month, and its blog claims more than $43 million paid across 20,000-plus payouts, though the figures are labelled differently from page to page. Finance Magnates puts India first by web traffic, followed by Vietnam, the US and Brazil. The group also runs Trade The Pool for stocks and launched futures on the BlackArrow platform in February 2026, and in December 2025 its founders moved into CFD brokerage with the CySEC-licensed broker TSG.
Leadership shifted in August 2026, when CEO Saul Lokier moved to Mexico as general manager for Latin America; the about page now lists Gil Ben Hur as founder and CEO. All evaluation and funded accounts are simulated, the liquidity providers are not named, and disputes go to the courts of Tel Aviv under Israeli law. Israel itself is on the firm's list of restricted countries.
Trader tip
Treat the payout cap as your real income: a funded $100K High Stakes account pays at most $4,000 every 14 days, minus a 3.5% fee, so withdraw every cycle instead of letting profit pile up before a scale-up. Trade both directions, keep a dated journal with screenshots of each setup, and keep your calendar open for a risk interview, which must be booked and finished within five business days.

The5ers FAQ
Questions traders ask
Is The5ers legit?
Yes, it is a real company: Five Percent Online Ltd, registered in Israel and operating since 2016, with named founders and a claimed $43 million-plus in payouts. Legit is not the same as low-risk, though: in 2026 the firm admitted payout delays and has been closing accounts at payout stage for coordinated trading and one-sided bets, and all accounts are simulated.
Does The5ers actually pay out?
Yes. The firm claims more than 20,000 payouts, and many September 2026 Trustpilot reviews report withdrawals within hours to three days. Every payout passes a risk review, though, and about 38% of recent one- and two-star reviews describe profits refused after that review, so read the prohibited-practices page before you trade.
How long do The5ers payouts take?
You can request the first payout 14 days after funding and then every 14 days. The firm quotes a 24-48 hour risk review plus up to three business days and advertises a 16-hour average; in spring 2026 traders reported waits of one to two weeks, and the firm acknowledged delays on March 31, 2026.
What is The5ers pass rate?
The5ers does not publish one. We estimate about 9% of challenge attempts reach funding, based on its FTMO-style 10%/5% High Stakes targets, the tighter 4%/8% limits on $50K-$100K accounts, and harder one-step Growth and three-step Bootcamp programs.
What are The5ers' hidden rules?
The ones that catch traders are the payout caps ($3,000 on $50K and $4,000 on $100K High Stakes), the 3.5% withdrawal fee, the two-minute news window on High Stakes and Summer Plan, 50% consistency on Summer Plan accounts, and broad bans on one-sided bets, bulk trading and coordinated trading. A requested video interview must also be completed within five business days.
Can you trade news with The5ers?
Holding trades through news is allowed everywhere. On High Stakes and Summer Plan accounts no order may execute from two minutes before to two minutes after a red-folder release, including pending orders, and profit from such trades is deducted. Hyper Growth, Pro Growth and Bootcamp allow news trading except buy-and-sell-stop bracketing, and futures have no news restriction.
Are EAs allowed at The5ers?
The FAQ allows EAs whose source code you own, with no stealth stops, HFT, tick scalping or arbitrage, and bans third-party copy EAs. The T&C go further and require prior written approval for any automated software, so get approval in writing first. Algorithmic trading is banned on futures.
Does The5ers accept US traders?
Yes, again since February 2026, after new US sign-ups were paused in February 2024. US traders use The5ers' TradingView web terminal only, with no MT5 or new cTrader accounts, and can also join the futures programs on BlackArrow.
Is there a The5ers discount code?
The5ers is not publishing a coupon code of its own as of October 1, 2026; its current promotion is the Summer Plan, with $100K two-step evaluations from $149. Affiliate sites advertise 10% codes, and hub credits cannot be combined with promo codes.
Who owns The5ers?
The5ers is the brand of Five Percent Online Ltd, an Israeli company based in Raanana with a UK sister company of the same name. It was founded by Gil Ben Hur, who is listed as founder and CEO; former CEO Saul Lokier moved to run Latin America in August 2026. The same group runs Trade The Pool for stock traders.
What happens if I breach a The5ers account?
Hitting the max loss or a hard daily loss ends the account and the fee is not refunded. Hyper Growth and funded Bootcamp accounts have a 3% daily pause that only locks you out until the next day, and trades inside the news window are soft breaches where the profit is deducted. A prohibited-practice finding can close every account you hold and forfeit pending payouts.
The5ers 1-step vs 2-step: which is easier?
The two-step is easier to pass: High Stakes New asks for 10% then 5% with a 10% max loss (8% on $50K and $100K), while the one-step Growth programs ask for 10% with only a 6% stop-out. The one-step can pay you sooner, but Hyper Growth starts at a 50% split and Pro Growth at 75%, against 80% on High Stakes.
What is The5ers Summer Plan?
A limited-time line launched in July 2026: $100K two-step accounts for $149 (10/5) or $179 (8/5), $200K for $249 or $279, and a $100K one-step for $249. The trade-offs are a 3% daily loss that ends the account, a 50% consistency rule on funded accounts, $2,000-$3,000 payout caps and a fee refund only at the third payout.
Why does The5ers ban accounts for coordinated trading?
Its rules forbid trading in coordination with, or copying, other traders, and the risk team compares entries across accounts at payout time. Many 2026 reviews say accounts were closed because entries resembled an unknown trader's, with no IP or device link shown, so traders who follow public signals or popular session setups carry the most risk.
