Alpha Futures built its name in 2024 and 2025 on end-of-day drawdown, a 90% split and same-day payouts. Since July 2026 it has been a different firm: NinjaTrader cut it off, it closed its Premium plan and first voided the plan's pending payouts, and by October 2026 traders were still waiting on that queue while standard payouts had slowed to five business days. The rules on paper are clear and the evaluations are reasonably priced, but the Trustpilot complaints since August describe approved payouts flagged and denied for short trades, copier-triggered 'hedging' and shared devices. Until the backlog is cleared, treat it as a high-risk choice.
Clear rules on paper, a payout backlog and review wave in practice
Our verdict
On paper Alpha Futures is one of the more trader-friendly futures firms: end-of-day trailing drawdown on every plan, no activation fees, a 90% split, a one-day Zero pass and an Advanced account with no consistency rule and a $15,000 payout cap. The plan tables in its help center are clearer than most.
The problem is everything since July 2026. Losing NinjaTrader forced the firm onto its own AlphaTrader platform, it closed the Premium plan and initially voided that plan's pending payouts, and PropFirmMatch delisted it. The firm reversed course within days, but in October traders still report Premium payouts and refunds outstanding, standard payouts now take up to five business days after approval, and from late August a wave of approved requests was flagged and denied for short trades, copier-driven hedging, group trading or shared devices. Those are judgment calls made at payout time, which is the kind of risk a trader cannot plan around.
Our view: wait. If the Premium queue is cleared and payout complaints fall back toward the profile's long-run 10% negative share, the product itself is competitive. Until then the evaluation price is not the cost that matters; the risk is passing, earning, and then waiting or being refused.
Best for
Experienced intraday index traders who hold trades for minutes, trade one account at a time and can wait for payouts.
Avoid if
You scalp in under two minutes, copy trades across accounts, share a device or need your payouts quickly and predictably.
Pros
- End-of-day trailing Maximum Loss Limit on every plan, locking at the starting balance and not reset by withdrawals.
- No activation fee on any plan since July 2026, and Qualified accounts carry no monthly subscription.
- 90% profit split from the first payout on every plan.
- Advanced Qualified accounts have no consistency rule, no daily loss guard, no news window and a $15,000 cap per request.
- Zero evaluations can pass in one trading day with no consistency rule, from $89 a month for 25K.
- Rules are laid out per plan and size in the help center, with a consistency calculator.
- US traders accepted; five platform options including TradingView via Plus500.
Cons
- July 2026 Premium shutdown: pending payouts first voided, then paid in batches still unfinished in October 2026.
- Standard payouts slowed from same day to 5 business days or more after approval.
- Tick-scalping, hedging and group-trading reviews happen at payout time, and 45.6% of classified 1-2 star reviews report a denied payout.
- Payout caps of $1,000-$5,000 per request on Zero, Standard and Direct, and never more than 50% of profit at once.
- No overnight or weekend holding: everything flat by 4:20 PM ET.
- NinjaTrader and Tradovate gone since July 2026; AlphaTrader draws lag and copier complaints.
- Delisted by PropFirmMatch, and all sales are final.

Alpha Futures pass rate
How hard is it to pass?
Challenge pass rate
12%
~12% (our estimate, no published figure)
Bar = this firm · line = average of the 34 firms we grade (14%)
Alpha Futures publishes no pass rate. We estimate about 12% of evaluations reach a Qualified account: the 6% (Zero, Standard) and 8% (Advanced) targets against a 3-4% end-of-day trailing loss limit are a little easier than FTMO-style two-step challenges, where firms have disclosed roughly 10%, and monthly rebills give extra attempts. Finance Magnates cited industry data in July 2026 that only about 7% of evaluation buyers ever reach a payout; the site's '175,000 Qualified Analysts' and '1.1 million traders' figures come with no method.

About Alpha Futures
Founded 2024 · Harpenden, United Kingdom
Alpha Futures is the futures arm of the Alpha group behind the UK forex prop firm Alpha Capital Group. Alpha Futures Limited (company 15655643) was incorporated in England on 17 April 2024 and is registered in Harpenden, Hertfordshire; its directors are George Kohler and Andrew Blaylock, and since 1 April 2026 it has been owned by Alpha Group UK Holdings Ltd, the same holding that owns Alpha Capital. The firm's about page dates the project to 2023 and its launch partnership with ProjectX and Quantower, and names Benjamin Chaffee, a former Alpha Capital trader, as COO.
It sells one-step futures evaluations (Zero, Standard, Advanced) on a monthly subscription and a one-time Direct account that starts at the Qualified stage, all on simulated accounts with CME products. In January 2025 it added TradingView, Tradovate and NinjaTrader, which became its main stack. In 2026 it launched its own platform, AlphaTrader, and a Premium plan in May. NinjaTrader terminated the relationship effective 12 July 2026 amid a dispute over $225,700 the firm says was settled credit, and Alpha closed the Premium plan the same day. TradingView returned in September 2026 through Plus500.
The firm claims $70M in performance fees, 175,000 Qualified Analysts and a route for top traders to live capital through Alpha Prime in London. It is not regulated by the FCA, and its terms state that all trading is simulated and that performance fees are paid at its discretion.
Trader tip
If you trade here, use the Advanced plan only if you hold trades for several minutes, and keep one device and one network per account holder. Turn off cross-account copiers or check every copied fill, and withdraw as soon as you are eligible rather than letting profit build behind the $1,000-$5,000 caps.

Alpha Futures FAQ
Questions traders ask
Is Alpha Futures legit?
Alpha Futures is a registered UK company (Alpha Futures Limited, 15655643) owned by the same group as Alpha Capital, and it has paid many traders. Since July 2026, though, it has voided and then deferred Premium-plan payouts, slowed standard payouts and been delisted by PropFirmMatch, so it is a real firm carrying high payout risk right now.
Does Alpha Futures actually pay out?
Yes, many traders report payouts, and the firm says approved standard payouts now arrive within five business days. But 45.6% of the 1-2 star Trustpilot reviews we classified report a denied payout and about half a delayed one, and some Premium-plan payouts from July 2026 were still outstanding in October.
How long do Alpha Futures payouts take?
The firm's September 2026 update says five business days or less once a request is approved, down from the same-day payouts it advertised before July. Reviews from August to October describe two to six weeks, and Premium-plan payouts run on a separate batch schedule.
What is the Alpha Futures pass rate?
Alpha Futures does not publish one. We estimate around 12% of evaluations reach a Qualified account, based on its 6-8% targets and 3-4% end-of-day drawdown compared with two-step challenges that firms have disclosed at about 10%.
What are Alpha Futures' hidden rules?
The ones that cost traders money are judged at payout: tick scalping (a pattern of trades under 10 ticks and 2 minutes), hedging between your own accounts, group trading and the one-person-per-household rule. Add the 40% or 20% consistency rule on most Qualified accounts, the 2-minute news window and payout caps of 50% of profit per request.
Can you trade news with Alpha Futures?
Yes in every evaluation and on Advanced Qualified accounts. On Zero, Standard and Direct Qualified accounts no order may execute within 2 minutes before or after a red-folder ForexFactory event; doing so voids that trade's profit and the payout, and repeat violations breach the account.
Are EAs and bots allowed at Alpha Futures?
No. AI, bots and fully automated trading are banned on all accounts, as are strategies that take more than 100 trades a day. Indicators that give signals are fine as long as you place and manage each trade yourself.
Does Alpha Futures accept US traders?
Yes. The United States is not on the restricted list, and a large share of its Trustpilot reviewers are American. About 60 countries are excluded, including Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia.
Is there an Alpha Futures discount code?
The firm runs its own codes on its official promotions page, usually a percentage off the first evaluation or Direct account, and affiliate links default to 10% off. Check that page for what is live, as the codes change with each campaign.
Who owns Alpha Futures?
Alpha Futures Limited is owned by Alpha Group UK Holdings Ltd, the holding company behind Alpha Capital Group. George Kohler and Andrew Blaylock are its directors, and Kohler is listed as managing director and founder.
What happens if I breach an Alpha Futures account?
Hitting the end-of-day trailing loss limit ends the account. In an evaluation you can buy a reset or wait for the monthly rebill; Zero and Standard Qualified accounts can be reset for $399-$999 up to twice if you never requested a payout, and Advanced and Direct accounts cannot.
Zero vs Standard vs Advanced: which Alpha Futures plan is easiest?
Zero is easiest to pass: a 6% target, no consistency rule and one minimum day, but payouts are capped at $1,000-$2,500. Standard adds a 50% consistency rule for bigger caps, and Advanced needs 8% with a 40% rule but has no rules on payout consistency or news once qualified.
Can I hold trades overnight with Alpha Futures?
No. All simulated accounts must be flat by 4:20 PM ET each day, and the firm closes anything left open. Overnight holding is only possible for traders later moved to its live program.
