Hola Prime rules & hidden risks
The fine print that costs traders accounts
Hidden Risk score
4.2/10
High risk
Average: 5.5
Hola Prime's headline numbers (6-10% profit targets, 2-3 minimum trading days, no consistency rule on Prime plans) are straightforward, but real risk sits in enforcement: an unpublished 'consistency score' gates several payout paths, device/VPS-sharing flags have hit single-device traders, and a 2% per-trade-idea rule that aggregates re-entries within 10 minutes is the top complaint theme in our review sample.
Hidden rules to know before you buy
- highstrategy
2% max-risk-per-trade-idea rule aggregates re-entries and overlapping positions
On every CFD funded account, risk from overlapping positions or any same-direction re-entry within 10 minutes is summed into one 'trade idea' capped at 2% of the initial balance; breaching it is a hard termination, and it is the most common complaint theme in our negative-review sample.

Device, VPN, VPS and IP sharing can be flagged without evidence shown to the trader
Multiple reviewers using a single personal VPS report accounts breached for 'device sharing' with no proof provided back to them; Hola Prime's published policy outlines the rule but not its detection or appeals process.

Access can be revoked by country after a challenge fee is already paid
Hola Prime restricts roughly 30 countries including India and Pakistan, and at least one 2026 reviewer reports the country block was enforced only after their challenge fee had been accepted and an account funded.

Undefined 'consistency score' gates On-Demand and Direct payouts
On-Demand payouts on CFD Prime/Pro accounts need a 40% 'consistency score,' and Direct accounts need 20%, but Hola Prime does not publish how the score is calculated.

Expert Advisors are banned by default, paid add-on only on MT5
EAs, bots and automated systems are prohibited unless the trader buys the EA add-on, which only works on MT5 (not on Direct accounts), requires declaring the strategy, and bans using EA signals for copy trading.

Funded accounts can be capped at $90K in countries Hola Prime doesn't name on its rules page
A 'country-specific limit' caps total funded allocation at $90K instead of the usual $400K for traders from certain countries; the affected list sits behind a separate FAQ link rather than the main rules page.
Source - mediumlot-size
2-Step Pro funded accounts carry per-size lot caps with a split cut on a second breach
Exceeding the max-exposure lot limit (e.g. 40 lots on a $100K account) triggers a warning and profit deduction the first time, then a cut to a 30% profit split plus termination on a second breach.

News-trading rules conflict on the firm's own futures Direct page
Hola Prime's futures Direct Account page shows one content block stating news trading is allowed and a later block on the same page stating it is not allowed, with no clarification; we treat the plan as restricted until the firm clarifies.

The rulebook
Drawdown4 rules
- 1-Step Prime and 2-Step Prime/Pro (CFD): daily loss is 3% (Prime) or 5% (Pro) of the previous day's closing balance; max loss is a static 6% (Prime) or 10% (Pro) floor off the initial balance.
- 2-Step Pro tightens to 4% daily / 8% max loss (still static) on the $200K account size only; other sizes use 5%/10%.
- Direct (CFD): 3% daily loss, 7% max loss on an end-of-day trailing basis that locks at the starting balance once open profit equals the drawdown amount.
- Futures (1-Step Prime and Direct): trailing max loss is 4% on $25K/$50K accounts and 3% on $100K/$150K accounts; Direct futures also carries a 2.5% 'soft breach' daily loss limit.
Risk per trade & consistency4 rules
- A 2% max-risk-per-trade-idea rule applies to every CFD funded account: overlapping same-asset positions and any same-direction re-entry within 10 minutes are summed into one 'trade idea,' and a mandatory stop loss is required on every trade.
- On-Demand CFD payouts need a 40% 'consistency score' (20% on Direct, 35-40% on futures); Hola Prime does not publish how the score is calculated.
- Bi-Weekly and Monthly CFD payouts instead require 3 or 7 'profitable days' (each at least 0.5% of initial balance) in the cycle.
- The Prime Consistency Program (PCP) can apply additional, discretionary measures to accounts Hola Prime judges to show 'elevated risk or inconsistency.'
Prohibited strategies & EA policy4 rules
- Banned outright: gambling-style/grid trading, excessive margin use, tick scalping/HFT, arbitrage, cross-account or group hedging, gap trading, account rolling, overleveraging, martingale/DCA, account or device sharing, and one-sided betting.
- Expert Advisors are prohibited by default; the EA add-on only works on MT5 (not on Direct accounts), requires declaring the strategy, and bans using another trader's signals for copy trading.
- Switching between EA/algo and manual trading, or materially changing asset classes or risk exposure, between the Challenge and funded stages is treated as a rule violation.
- TradeLocker and Match-Trader are only available to US and UK traders; other countries are routed to different platforms.
News, weekend & copy trading4 rules
- 1-Step Prime and 2-Step Prime (CFD): news trading and weekend holding are unrestricted, on both the Challenge and funded stages.
- 2-Step Pro and Direct (CFD): no new orders within 5 minutes of a high-impact release on the funded stage, and all positions are force-closed by 15:45 EST Friday (Direct: a hard breach if anything is left open).
- Futures 1-Step Prime explicitly allows news trading; Hola Prime's own futures Direct page gives conflicting guidance on whether news trading is allowed there.
- Copy trading is allowed only between a trader's own Hola Prime accounts, capped at one master and one copier account on the funded stage; copying another firm's account into Hola Prime is banned.
Account, KYC & country rules4 rules
- Hola Prime does not serve roughly 30 countries, including Afghanistan, China, India, Iran, Pakistan, Russia and Yemen; several reviewers report the block was enforced only after a challenge fee had already been paid.
- Maximum funded allocation is $400K per CFD or futures category ($800K combined); traders from certain unnamed countries are capped at $90K instead.
- Funded CFD accounts are capped at four $50K, two $100K or one $200K account at a time.
- Accounts with no trade opened in 30 consecutive calendar days are permanently suspended.
Payouts4 rules
- Three CFD payout cycles to choose from: On-Demand (80% split, anytime once eligible), Bi-Weekly (80% split, every 14 days) and Monthly (95% split, every 30 days, +20% on the account fee); Direct offers Bi-Weekly at 80% or 90%.
- Futures payouts are Weekly at a 90% split on both the 1-Step Prime and Direct futures accounts.
- A 2.5% payout processing fee applies to every method, with a $25 minimum on bank wire/Rise and $5 minimum on crypto; Rise payouts need a $500 minimum.
- Every payout goes through an account review (up to 24 business hours) before release; Hola Prime says the transfer itself is typically completed within an hour of approval.
