Guardian Shield auto-closing positions and rule interpretation disputes
The largest share of negative reviews centers on Guardian Shield, an automated feature that closes every open position once floating loss hits 1-2% of the account, well inside the advertised drawdown; reviewers describe losing a 50% profit-split cut or a full account to it, often while believing they were within the stated limits.
Most praised · 14% of positive reviews
Trading conditions, platform experience and fast support
The largest share of positive reviews praises competitive spreads, smooth execution and quick, friendly responses from support on routine account and platform questions.

Our read of the reviews
Blue Guardian's Trustpilot profile holds 2,095 reviews but currently displays a guideline-breach banner that hides its TrustScore; our own star-weighted read of a recent 200-review sample lands at 3.4 out of 5, with 61.5% positive (4-5 stars), 3.5% mixed (3 stars) and 35% negative (1-2 stars). None of the sampled reviews carry Trustpilot's verified label. Monthly sentiment is choppy rather than trending cleanly: the negative share fell from 42% in June to 18% in August before climbing back to 38% in September, so we read the trend as declining off an unsustained improvement rather than stable.
The negative sample is dominated by one specific, recurring complaint rather than generic dissatisfaction: Guardian Shield, the automatic position-closer, appears throughout hundreds of 1-star reviews spanning March through October, with consistent detail about accounts or profit splits being cut at 1-2% floating loss, several with screenshots claiming the dashboard showed no violation at the time. Customer support (40% of the negative sample) and account breaches or terminations (34%) are the next largest themes, frequently tied to the same payout-time disputes - shared-device flags, KYC mismatches, and consistency or news-trading interpretation. Positive reviews cluster around price, fast support responses for routine questions, and payouts that land within hours when no compliance flag is raised.
The split paints a firm that performs well on the easy cases and poorly on anything a risk review touches. That consistency - the same mechanism named by independent reviewers over more than half a year - is more convincing than a handful of isolated complaints would be, even allowing for the usual mix of sore losers on any prop-firm Trustpilot page.
