Our read of the reviews
The5ers' Trustpilot profile looks spotless from a distance: 4.7 from 38,828 reviews, 90% of them five stars. Up close, the inflow is dominated by short invited reviews. The 200 most recent reviews were all posted between September 28 and October 1, 2026, about 50 a day; 94% carry the Verified label, 62% of the 4-5 star reviews are under 80 characters, and reviewers in India and Vietnam wrote 87 of the 200. The longer positive reviews mostly praise payouts arriving within hours to three days, clear rules and responsive support, with the cheap Summer Plan a frequent mention.
The negative side is concentrated and recent. About 200 of the 1,219 one-star reviews the profile has ever received were posted between August 4 and September 30, 2026, a steady 20 to 30 a week. Around 38% of the 225 one- and two-star reviews we analysed describe accounts closed or payouts refused after a risk review, most often for coordinated trading judged by similarity to an unknown trader, one-sided bets, bulk trading or a failed ownership interview. The next clusters are unresponsive support (20%), slippage, spreads and price-feed problems (18%) and KYC or card-name rejections (10%).
The direction is negative even though the headline score has barely moved. One-star reviews currently make up about 5% of new reviews against 3.1% all-time, and outside coverage puts the TrustScore at 4.9 before 2025. Some reviewers also say the firm pushed them to take reviews down, and the terms now treat disparaging posts as grounds for termination, so the visible negative count is more likely understated than inflated.
